About Us

Jewels and gemstones do not fade with time... they continue to glow and charm generation after generation. Gems & Jewellery, since the bygone era, have been more than just mere designs carved onto a frame. They have been a royal insignia of beauty, richness and the vivid tradition; which still prevails, and continues to charm.

A family run enterprise, The Kasliwal Family brings to you these magnificent royal masterpieces of adoration. In the profession since 1833, the family was invited by the Jaipur Royal court to Jaipur.

In 1935, Prakash Chand Kasliwal started the the family boutique, The Gem Palace in Jaipur. Since then, the family has catered to the royalty of Jaipur, Rajputana (Rajasthan) and other Royal families. Our clientèle spans from royal families to corporate czars, from celebrities to renowned artists all over the globe.

To extend our reach to the export and wholesale market, in 1974, Raja Kasliwal (Prakash Chand Kasliwal's son) embarked upon a phenomenon - Ratnna Sangam.

Raja Kasliwal

A name that has grown synonymous with traditional Indian jewelry designs. Beautifully incorporating traditional symbols, motifs and designs with contemporary stylish jewellery, his creations are no less than wonders. With hundreds and thousands of gemstones embedded in the frames of gold, silver and other metals, his jewellery still scores in terms of weight and simplicity. He crafts numbered pieces of jewellery every year.

Monu Avnish

Brothers, forming the eighth generation of the family, with their distinct design conceptualisation and methodology perfectly complement each other. With a flavour of contemporary western influence, Manish's design encompasses various Indian aesthetics including cultural symbols, textile motifs and temple friezes. Avnish, with his uncanny talent imparts a distinct look to even a raw piece just by adding & changing something out of his jewel box.

Their creations are one of a kind and reflect the family's philosophy of elegance and grace. The balance and harmony they achieve in their commendable designs, accurately blend India's culture with contemporary aesthetics and their diverse and unique taste.

Ritika Priyanka

Ritika, wife of Monu, did her gemology from London to take on the responsibility of Creative Director. Priyanka, wife of Avnish, with a background from journalism, soon created a bond owing to her natural fascination for various subjects ranging from Picasso’s abstract forms to traditional Indian art of hammered gold to French enameling techniques of Champleve and Plique-a-jour. Both the designers create lightweight and trendy daily wear jewellery. With a subtle yet artistic look, their creations are no less than masterpieces of art.

Ratnna Sangam supports Udayan Care, a non-profit organisation with a vision to 'regenerate the lives of the disadvantaged', particularly children and women. A part of our proceeds goes to Udayan Care.
